Andrew Fentem has worked on innovative human computer interfaces for some time, after beginning his career in military research and development, specifically missiles.
His work today is part-art, part hobby, part business venture.
His latest creation, the Fentix Cube, is generating a lot of interest from toy manufacturers and buzz on the internet, based on a few clips he put on YouTube.
Here's the demonstration video.

That's cool....but his design will soon be stolen by people from mainland China!
Let's wish him luck!
Soon? Maybe they're manufacturing them at the moment.
I would want to have this as a christmas gift. The design is most clever and convenient to carry.
To choose among gadgets, I would prefer one that trians the mind. This is the most suitable toy anyone could have during a long train trip or flight. Besides, the LEDs would not tire the eyes as easily as portable game gadgets.
It is convenient, fun and benefical. Why not go for a try?
Hidden, long time no see. I think this would be a great gadget. Unless it will actually be "helped" by Chinese manufacturers to produce them. I think it will still take quite some time for them to appear in shops like TOYS"R"US.
